Lynnfield Woodlot
We're delighted to announce that in partnership with the Town of Lynnfield, the Commonwealth, Ipswich River Watershed Association and many others, the 21-acre "Lynnfield Woodlot" property on Main Street (formerly referred to as Richardson Green) has been permanently protected. An important ecological and drinking water resource, this land will provide a gateway to trails on other conserved land in the future.Thank you to all who made this project possible! Annual Members Meeting
Under clearing skies on May 19, Greenbelt gathered for our Annual Members Meeting to celebrate people and land conservation. We remembered Kent Wosepka, friend and Director who passed in 2021; welcomed new Directors Stephen Goeben and Bill Zola; and honored Susanna Colloredo-Mansfeld with the Al Creighton Conservation Award, Jan Klein with the Outstanding Volunteer Award, and Jerry Klima as a retiring Director. Greenbelt's 2021 conservation achievements - made possible by our Members - are featured in our Annual Report.
