60 Years of Land Conservation! |
Under a beautiful October sky, Greenbelt members, volunteers, partners and friends gathered at Cox Reservation last weekend to celebrate 60 years of local land conservation. Since our founding in 1961, Greenbelt has conserved more than 18,400 acres throughout Essex County thanks to incredible support from you, our Greenbelt community. Many thanks for your ongoing commitment to our work, and to all who joined us to commemorate this important milestone! (Photos: Neil Ungerleider) |

Greenbelt's first informal, gravel bike meet-up was a huge success! Cyclists set off from Vineyard Hill Reservation to ride more than 20 miles of trails and roads through hundreds of acres of conserved land. Thank you to Dan Tieger and Noah Leavitt for mapping the route and leading the ride! Stay tuned for more rides like these. Vineyard Hill Reservation→ |

Lynn Woods Walk |
A hearty crew of hikers enjoyed a rigorous walk at the incredible Lynn Woods Reservation earlier this month. Shout out to Park Ranger Dan Small, who led a fabulous guided hike, and our Greenbelt GOATs, a special volunteer crew that keeps us safe and accounted for on expeditions like this. |
