2020 Annual Meeting |
Our first virtual Annual Meeting, held in May, was a success! Live streamed from Cox Reservation, reports and awards were presented, and new Board appointments were approved by 520 members who voted by proxy. Thank you to all who voted, and to Beth Cooper for her gorgeous flowers! Read the 2019 Annual Report here, and click below to watch the meeting. Annual Meeting Video →

Art in the Barn ends tomorrow! |
June 17th is the last day to shop at Art in the Barn online. We're thrilled with this year's virtual attendance and sales! Thank you to the artists for donating 50% of their proceeds to Greenbelt, and to everyone who supported us with their purchases. Special thanks to the Tree House Charlatans for their opening night concert; silent auction artists Ann Jones, Dorothy Monnelly, Kris Francis and George Sherwood; and our AIB committee! Osprey Update |
Light the cigars! Three of them, in fact. This past week, all three eggs hatched in Annie & Squam's nest near Lobstaland in Gloucester. This is the first time since we installed our original OspreyCam 6 years ago that we've seen multiple eggs hatch in the nest that we're live streaming. Grab a front row seat and watch this little family grow! Live OspreyCam → |

In Memoriam |
We are saddened by the recent passing of Richard B. Pratt, a loyal Greenbelt supporter and Mail Crew volunteer. Well-versed in many subjects, Richard was a history buff with a particular interest in Thomas Jefferson. Richard enjoyed nature and visiting Greenbelt's Cox Reservation, and we're grateful that he was part of our community. Richard B. Pratt → |
