Greenbelt Celebrates the Opening of the Castle Neck River Reservation, Ipswich
More than 75 Greenbelt supporters gathered on a beautiful September evening to celebrate the official opening of Greenbelt's Castle Neck River Reservation in Ipswich. Welcoming remarks from President Kate Bowditch and the presentation of a citation from the Office of Senator Bruce Tarr were followed by a leisurely walk on the one-mile Greenough Trail. A huge thank you to Greenbelt's Land Stewardship staff who worked hard to get this property ready. Visit our website for a video and story map of this incredible new reservation.

Named the Ethel Vashti Hill Reservation after his grandmother, Hill wanted to conserve his land so others can enjoy it like his family has for three generations.
