Greenbelt's Osprey research goals include a better understanding of the habits of these impressive creatures and protecting their summer breeding areas in Essex County. |

It's that time of year when Piping Plover chicks scurrying about the beaches of Essex County. For the past several weeks, Greenbelt's stewardship staff has helped keep these young chicks safe from predators with protective wiring and fencing at Gloucester's Good Harbor Beach. Be on the lookout for these incredible little guys!
